Coorg-Vythiri-Mysore Tour Package Itinerary
Day 01: Bangalore – Coorg : On arrival at Bangalore, our representative will greets you and transfers you to the picturesque hill resort of Coorg (250 km /5 ½ hrs). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later go for a visit to the spectacular Abbi Falls. Then proceed to the Raj’s Seat for enjoying the panoramic views of the misty Coorg valley. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 02: Coorg : After breakfast, we take you to Talcauvry (the origin point of River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Later visit the ancient temple. In the evening, go to Madikeri town and enjoy shopping for honey, coffee and spices. Over night is at hotel.
Day 03: Coorg :
After breakfast head towards the Rajiv Gandhi National Park at Nagarhole. Spend the full day over there. In the evening, return to the hotel and stay for the night there.
Day 04 Vythiri : After breakfast leave to Vythiri (100kms/3 hrs).Enroute visit Edakkal Caves. These are ancient caves located in Ambukuthimala in Wayanad district. The word means a cave between rocks. The caves have drawings of historical importance. Feel the touch of old times and then move to the Vythiri Resort. Overnight is at hotel Vythiri.
Day 05 Vythiri :
After breakfast take the way to Lakkidi named as the gateway of Wayanadu. It is marked by its enchanting zigzag rivers, winding roads etc. You can have a trek through the ghat road. Later we move to Pookot Lake. Pookot Lake is a fresh water lake bounded my mountains on all sides and is marked by a beautiful aquarium and green house. You can enjoy a cruise through the lake. Buy some spices, handicrafts etc. also. In the evening: return to the hotel, overnight stay in hotel.
Day: 06 Mysore : After breakfast, we transfer you to Mysore (145KM).Enroute visit Sirangapatnam - capital of warrior - King Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan. Arrive Mysore and check in the hotel. In the after noon go to visit Mysore Palace: Once the residence of the Woodeyars, Built in 1912 in the Indo - Saracenic style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. Overnight stay is in Mysore.
Day: 07 Bangalore :
After breakfast we drive back to Bangalore 145 KM /4 hrs in order to take the flight to onward destination.
