Pilgrimage Tour To South India Itinerary

Day 01: Cochin – Houseboat : On arrival at Cochin we will meet you and transfer you to Houseboat. At 1230 hrs checks in at houseboat. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Overnight stay is in the House Boat.

Day 02: Houseboat – Trivandrum : After a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer you to Trivandrum (175 Kms / 4.5 Hrs) this journey is through costal areas with coconut trees and view of lagoons and palm fringed Arabian Sea. Enroute go for sight seeing tour of Trivandrum. Visit: The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple etc. Overnight stay is at Hotel, Trivandrum.

Day 03: Trivandrum-Kovalam – Kanyakumari : After breakfast in the hotel checks out from Hotel and start the journey to Kanyakumari (100 KM/ 3 hrs). Enroute visit Kovalam beach also. After some rest visit the Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Rock, Devikanya temple and return back to Hotel after seeing the sunset from the southern tip of India. Overnight stay is at the Hotel.

Day 04: Kanyakumari-Madurai : After breakfast we shall transfer you to Ootty. Ootty is a picturesque landscape marked with deep forests, green meadows, vast tea gardens, tall eucalyptus trees etc. Check in at the hotel. Evening is free to explore the beautiful & ravishing beauty of Ootty. Night stay is at the Hotel, Ootty

Day 05: Madurai Rameswaram-Madurai : After breakfast we will go to Rameswaram for visiting Ramanathaswamy Temple, Kothandaraswamy Temple & Dhanushkodi, Adam's Bridge, Dhanushkodi Beach, Gandhamadana Parvatam .Evening come back to Madurai. Overnight stay is at hotel Madurai.

Day 06: Madurai – Munnar : South India Holiday starts on arrival at Bangalore, we will transfer you to Hotel .Pm we will take you for a city tour covering Tippu’s palace, Bull Temple, Lalbaug, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishweshwaraiah Museum, Utility Building. Night stay is in Bangalore

Day 07: Munnar : After breakfast starts the full day sightseeing trip of Munnar including Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary- home of Nilgiry Thar( very rare mountain goat), and Tea gardens . Arrive back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay is in Hotel, Munnar.

Day 08: Guruvayur : After breakfast check out from the hotel and move to Guruvayur (200 Kms/5 hrs). Overnight is at hotel in Guruvayur.

Day 09: Departure: Breakfast in the hotel and later we transfer you to the airport of Cochin. (130 kms 4 hrs)
